Fumio Mimura (三村文雄, Mimura Fumio) is supporting character in the BNA: Brand New Animal anime. He is a Chameleon Beastman who is a researcher at the Medical Center and reports directly to the chief Yaba.
Appearance[]
In his human form, he has fair skin, a long, narrow face, and dark brown hair in a pointy hairstyle.
In his chameleon form, he resembles a chameleon and has green skin and an extendable tongue. The tongue can function as an extra appendage and manipulate objects.
Personality[]
Mimura is best described as attentive and obedient. He is the first to recognize Michiru and notifies Chief Yaba immediately.
He is also manipulative and sly, using Michiru as a hostage to demand a helicopter for escape.
History[]
He recognizes Michiru during the Medical Center bombing incident and knows her from the past, before Michiru's beastman transformation. He also holds Michiru hostage on the rooftop and demanded a helicopter as ransom. He confesses to embezzlement and facilitating the Medical Center bombings. He is currently detained.
Abilities[]
- Camouflage/Invisibility - Mimura can disappear into the surroundings and remain undetected.
- Extendable Tongue - Mimura can use his tongue to extend and manipulate objects. It is strong enough to physically restrain Michiru.
- Panoramic Vision - He has a 360-degree field-of-view and can see attackers approaching from the back. He is able to stop Kuro this way during the hostage situation.[1]
