Gram Grandma (グランド, Guran guranma) is a supporting character in BNA: Brand New Animal. She is the boss of Rabbit Town and is affiliated with The Family mafia. She is a lop-eared rabbit Beastman.
Appearance[]
In her human form, she is heavyset and has fair skin, a mole on the right side of her mouth, and a red pompadour hairstyle. Her makeup consists of purple eye shadow and eyeliner, and red lipstick. She wears a purple dress with a purple pearl necklace and a black fur coat.
In her rabbit form, she has white fur and grayish-purple floppy ears and spots around her eyes. The rest of her appearance remains largely unchanged.
Personality[]
She gives off the impression of being a cold and unrelenting boss, but she shows sympathy for the children that grow up in Rabbit Town. She appears anguished when forced to sell the children, and in the end, does seem to have empathy.
History[]
Background[]
Grandma and her subordinates grew up in Rabbit Town. They didn't have any strong parental figures and had a harsh childhood. This is the root of her empathy for the children growing up in a similar situation.
Brand New Animal[]
Grandma offers to return Michiru's wallet in return that she teach the kids reading and writing. She then meets with Kusakabe and Giuliano Flip who demand that she follow through with the payment. She is unable to procure the money and is forced to sell the children. Gram Grandma proceeds to process and load the children to be shipped but Michiru is able to free them all. Shirou stops Grandma who gets arrested and detained by the police.
