Genice Chan is a Chinese-Canadian artist based in Vancouver. She created the concept art for BNA: Brand New Animal and directed the ED animation.
Personal Life[]
Genice studied at Capilano University in British Columbia majored in 2D Animation and Visual Development. She worked as an Illustration intern at Giant Ant, an animation house based in Vancouver, and returned to work full-time post-graduation.
According to Tattun in a live-stream, Studio Trigger has been a big fan of her work and approached her to work together on a project. Beginning in November 2018, she joined the BNA project as a freelance to produce the ED animation and design the concept art with the help of the team at Giant Ant.
In the official poster, Yoh Yoshinari drew the line drawings of the characters while Genice worked on the background art and coloring.[1]
